The Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) has tendered the contract to remodel the AP-4 motorway junction, located at kilometre 26.2, in the province of Seville.
Currently, the junction at the 26.2 kilometre mark is only accessed by traffic travelling from Seville towards the AP-4 in the direction of Cádiz.
Now that the contract has been tendered, the junction will be made accessible from all directions, thus facilitating the social cohesion of the area. The AP-4 will be made accessible, avoiding longer journeys and connecting the southern region of the province of Seville with this high-capacity route that forms part of Spain's road network.
Its completion will enable the optimal location of Palenquivir, a central point on the urban perimeter at the intersection of the AP-4 motorway with the main N-IV road, to be taken full advantage of.
